This is a little late. We had our 6 week check up since his 12 month appointment. He didn't gain much weight. In fact, he's only gained about 10oz since his 9 month exam (4 1/2 months ago). He's gained 2" though, so that's good. He's growing, but not packing on any pounds. Our Pediatrician wasn't available, so we saw one of his partners. She's met Dominick a few times when he had his ear infections. She's not worried about his weight, but is worried about his growth chart. He plateaued so early before he was mobile. She asked us to feed him more high fat/calorie foods. Cook all his food in butter and oil. Give him lots of fattening dairy. She was very pleased with his mobility and had him show her some of his sweet moves. We have to go back in another 6 weeks. This time, we're scheduled with our Pediatrician on January 12th.
Meanwhile, Dominick is doing great and moving more each day. He easily climbs the one step that takes him out of the living room and army crawls all over the house. He sometimes gets on all fours to crawl, mainly short distances. Today, he climbed the stairs with the physical therapist. This is exciting!
