I ordered Dominick's 1st birthday invitations two days ago. I don't think it's set in just yet that he will be one. One year olds are toddlers and he's not even crawling yet. I'm not "worried" about it even though I don't know of any other 11 monthers not crawling or walking. Everyone says, "He might not crawl and just start walking." Not likely. He can't get his stomach off the ground. He's now pulling his knees up underneath him when he sleeps, but not when he's awake. If we prop his knees up underneath him, his face hits the floor. He finds this hilarious.
He doesn't pull himself up or "cruise" on furniture. I hear that we're lucky and am often told to enjoy this time, so that's what we do. I thoroughly enjoy the fact that I can sit him somewhere and he doesn't move. He has no idea how to get down to the floor from a seated position.
He still eats like a champ and feeds himself very well. He also babbles a lot. He's moved on from saying, "mamamama" to using his Ps and Bs. Here's a short crappy cell phone video where I'm trying to get him to talk to Grandma.
